Chunky Strawberry Jam

What is nicer than strawberries in the summer? A variety of lovely dishes with strawberries from cakes, smoothies and jam!

Recipe
1 vanilla pod
300 g of strawberries
2-3 tbsp water
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 dl jam sugar

cream cheese
sourdough bread


Split the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the seeds. Cut the strawberries into pieces. Boil the vanilla pod seeds and strawberries with water and lemon juice in a saucepan. Simmer for about 10 minutes, while stirring a couple of times. Add the jam sugar and continue to cook 2-3 minutes. Keep on stirring. Pick up the vanilla pod and pour the jam into sterilised jars. Let cool. Serve with cream a good sourdough bread and some cream cheese.
