Penne Al'Arrabiata

Serve this deliciously spicy pasta with some grated parmesan cheese and a chilled glass of dry white wine– preferably a Pinot Grigio!

Recipe
400 g penne
1 can chopped tomatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
½ onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 tsp dried chilli flakes
100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Pinch of sugar
Fry the onion and garlic gently in the olive oil. Add tomatoes, chilli, sugar, salt and pepper, and leave to simmer for 25-30 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente. When the pasta is done, mix together with the sauce. Serve this deliciously spicy pasta with some grated parmesan cheese and a chilled glass of dry white wine – preferably a Pinot Grigio!
