Homemade yoghurt, the best with homemade granola

Recipe
2 litres fresh milk from a local farmer
2 tablespoons yogurt
sieve
large cooking pan
ladle
warm blanket
rope

Start by sieving the milk.
Farms often leave the milk outside for a while; so there might be some residue.
Put the milk in a large pan and cook it for 5 to 6 minutes.
Stay by the fire and push the yellow layer that develops on the surface to the side.
In this way, the milk can cook longer.
After cooking let the milk cool down to 45C0. Don’t have a thermometer?
Try this: the milk should still be warm, but not burn your finger.
If you can keep your finger in the pan for seven seconds, then the temperature is just right.
Add two tablespoons of yogurt to the warm milk.
The quality of the yogurt you add determines the quality of the yogurt you make.
So use a yogurt that you really like.
Stir the yogurt through the milk.
Wrap the pan in a warm towel and place it on a steady surface.
Keep the milk warm and steady for 3.5 hours.
After 3.5 hours, remove the pan from the towel and let it cool down for 4 to 5 hours to room temperature.
Try to keep the pan as steady as possible.
Lastly, put the pan in the refrigerator.
Your homemade yogurt is ready the next morning.
Make it even better by adding your favourite treats.
Recipe
Homemade Granola (sugar free)

160 grams of oatmeal
40 grams of chopped nuts (unsalted and unroasted) and seeds (such as pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
2 handfull raisins or mulberries

Preheat oven to 150Co
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl (except the raisins, mulberries and optional ingredients)
Warm the coconut oil over low heat and add the syrup and water, stir well
Add the coconut oil and syrup to the dry ingredients in the bowl, make sure that everything is well mixed.
Spread the granola on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven
Keep an eye on your granola to prevent it from charring. Every oven is different
Let the granola cool down for 10 minutes before adding the raisins / mulberries and any other optional ingredients before placing it in a dry container.
