Yvette van Boven (born in Ireland from Dutch Parents), divides her time between Amsterdam and Paris. She is a freelance food stylist, recipe writer, chef and columnist.
She used to be co-owner, together with her cousin Joris Vermeer, of a restaurant & catering company in Amsterdam, called Aan de Amstel.
Together with her husband, photographer Oof Verschuren, she made a number of critically acclaimed cookbooks from scratch. The first book Home Made was named ‘cookbook of the year 2010’ and has since then been released worldwide, translated into English, German, Spanish and French. Her next books Home Made Winter, Summer and Home Baked have now also been translated into English and German.
