Prisca, artist, and Hanock, chef, emigrated to Spain in 2008 with their two children to make their dream come true. The first years they spent living in a country house in a small village, close to Granada. In 2014 it was time to move on and they found a characteristic house in the centre of Vélez-Málaga in the Axarquia region, close to the beach and close to Málaga. They renovated the old house with respect for the historical structure, by using genuine materials and playing with the light. Together and with their own hands, they created spaces to live, work, eat and sleep with a low budget. Under the flag of “el toko” they present art, design and production of hand made objects and furniture, with a focus on recycling.
