Grilled Avocado Salad


We are pushing things here, but believe us, grilling brings out the avocado flavor and takes it to a new level

Salad of grilled avocado with bacon vinaigrette
4 strips of bacon, in pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamico
salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
olive oil
3 ripe avocado, peeled and quartet
3 tomatoes, cut into wedges
boston lettuce
serves 4
Start by frying the bacon in a pan until crisp.
Remove some of the fat in the pan, you need 2 tablespoons.
Add olive oil and balsamic.
Season with salt, pepper and red chili flakes.
Rub all the avocado wedges inn with olive oil.
Heat a grill pan and grill the avocado 1 minute on each side.
Transfer to a large bowl and add tomatoes and lettuce.
Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and serve.
