We live in a time right now where our homes and home furnishings have a great focus. We’re renovating and decorating as if there was no tomorrow and as if there were endless resources both on the planet and in our wallets. Of course it’s important to enjoy home and that’s why Elin and Patrik want to inspire others to decorate in a sustainable manner. To decorate with vintage and second hand and to slow down consumption to save earth’s resources. Elin’s interest in vintage has been around since childhood. Her mother loved visiting flea markets and vintage shops and she was a great collector of things of what she then created incredible homes with.
Elin runs a popular vintage store in Stockholm called ”Bodil Vintage” and it started with Elin’s passion for vintage. She travelled from one flea market to another and to second-hand stores and hand-picked clothes and furnishings for her webshop. The development from webshop to physical store went pretty fast. The first store was situated in Björkhagen, the other one in Midsommarkransen and now she has the shop at Kungsholmen near the couple’s home.
