Countryhouse in Castellina in Chianti

Dining space near the kitchen.

On a hilltop between Florence and Siena, 5 km from Castellina in Chianti you’ll find this casa colonica, typical farmer house, owned by Federica Fusi and her daughter Zoe. They decided to live in the countryside in an authentic and peaceful place surrounded by nature and where they could develop their idea of starting a b&b. The original unit of this house is mediaval whereas the exterior aspect is from 1766. Basically Federica wanted to find a house exactly with these characteristics and where no modernisation has transformed this original identity in order to set up this alternative form of countryside tourism; Agrifuturismo.

Absolutely a 'dream' kitchen, the old characteristics have been kept. A mix of chairs and old ceramics on the table.
