Susannah Le Mesurier, her husband David, who runs a falcon breeding and research centre in Dubai, their sons plus the dogs, live in a three-bedroom Victorian house near Hay-on-Wye in Powys, Wales. An adjacent converted barn provides extra space for their sons, including their eldest son when he visits from London.
